The Victoria Tower
Situated on Castle Hill, Huddersfield. Completed in 1899 to mark the Jubilee of
Queen Victoria, the tower is a prominent landmark around Huddersfield. Castle Hill
is so-called because of the iron age hill fort which occupies most of the hilltop. The
hill gives panoramic views across Huddersfield and the South Pennines.
